Keck Liver
The hepatology service at Keck consists of a team with an attending physician, a fellow, 3-4 senior residents (PGY2), and potentially medical students. Admissions are accepted by the hepatology attending. Most patients are admitted through the ETC/post-procedure or as transfers from outside hospitals. The SICU co-manages patients at SICU level of care.

Assessment and Plan should be documented in a problem-based format
All notes should be completed and sent to attending for co-sign prior to the end of the shift
Please remember, these notes are not living documents. You do not need to wait until the end of the day to submit, as long as you have accurately documented the expected plan of the day. Please submit to attending for co-signature as soon as they are complete.
